Day-1 Delhi sightseeing

This 7 nights 8 Day Golden Triangle tour starts from Delhi. The airport or railway station pick-up is arranged by the tour representative. Check into a good hotel in the capital, within your budget. Delhi offers a wonderful sightseeing experience. Visit UNESCO Heritages sites such as Humayun's Tomb, Red Fort, and Qutub Minar. You must also visit India Gate, Raj Ghat and Parliament House. If like to indulge in some shopping visit places such as Janpath Market, Chandni Chowk, Select City Walk Mall, Shahpur Jat, Hauz Khas Village, etc. Delhi offers several wonderful things to do. Day-2 Delhi to Agra (204 kms)

In the morning head for Agra in an A/C prepaid taxi. Taj Mahal is what draws tourists to Agra. It takes around 4 to 5 hours to reach Agra. Taj ExpressWay has made the journey very comfortable. Taj Mahal is a World UNESCO Heritage site. Shahjahan the well known Mughal ruler made Taj Mahal in 17th century in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The beauty and appeal of Taj is just mesmerizing. Day-3 More of Agra sightseeing

Agra sightseeing cannot be completed in a day, especially if you wish to visit other monuments as well. Start with a visit to Agra Fort. Agra Fort also known as the Red Fort of Agra is made out of red sandstone. The Mughal kings stayed here till the time their capital was shifted to Delhi. Other places to see in Agra are Mehtab Bagh and Tomb of Itimad-ud Daulah. People especially buy an Indian dessert known as "Petha" from Agra. You will get it from Panchhi Petha Store. Day-4 Agra to Jaipur (240 kms)

In the morning, you will be transferred to Jaipur in a prepaid taxi. The journey takes just 4 hours 30 minutes. On the way, you have a stopover at Fatehpur Sikri. Some of the key places to visit here are Buland Darwaza, Jama Mosque, and Tomb of Salim Chisti. Once you reach Jaipur you will check into your selected hotel. Overnight stay is in a hotel in Jaipur.

Day-5 Sightseeing in Jaipur

There are several amazing places to see in Jaipur. You can begin with a visit to Amber Fort. The fort presents a bird's eye view of the whole city. Other main places from a tourist point of view in Jaipur are Hawa Mahal, also known as the "Palace of winds", City Palace, Albert Hall Museum, Jantar Mantar, etc. Jaipur has some very interesting shopping places where you get items such as gemstones, leather goods, marble artifacts, tie, and dye fabric, etc. Overnight stay is in a hotel in Jaipur.

Day-6 Jaipur to New Delhi (320 Kms)

In the morning you will return to Delhi. It takes roughly 5 hrs to reach Delhi. In Delhi, you will visit holy places such as Lotus Temple, Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple, etc. Akshardham Temple is closed on Monday. Overnight stay is in a hotel in Delhi.

Day-7 Delhi to Amritsar

Early in the morning, you will leave for Amritsar. On reaching Amritsar you will check into a decent hotel and proceed for a visit to the Golden Temple. The beauty of the Golden Temple will simply leave you awestruck. Amritsar is known for its delicious food. Try the local delicacies. Overnight stay is in a hotel in Amritsar.

Day-8 Amritsar to Delhi
