Day-1 Delhi sightseeing

This 5 nights 6 Day Golden Triangle tour commences from the capital, Delhi. The tour representative will organize your airport or railway station pick-up. Then you will be taken to a hotel which is within your budget. After getting fresh, you will step out for some sightseeing. Visit places such as Humayun's Tomb, Lodhi Gardens, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Qutub Minar, etc. If you are fond of shopping you can head to places such as Chandni Chowk, Shahpur Jat, Hauz Khas Village, etc. Delhi has so many things that you can pack up in a day. Choose whatever you like and plan your day accordingly. Overnight stay is in a hotel in Delhi.

Day-2 Delhi to Agra (204 kms)

Next morning you will leave for Agra in your preferred vehicle. Agra is known for Taj. It will take you just 4 to 5 hours to reach Agra as the Taj Expressway is simply brilliant. Taj Mahal has been declared the World UNESCO Heritage site. It was built by Shahjahan in 17th century in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It has been believed that Shah Jahan cut off the hands of people who built the Taj Mahal so that the monument of such beauty and splendor could not be re-created. Taj Mahal is closed on Friday so plan your trip accordingly. Overnight stay is in Agra.

Day-3 More of Agra sightseeing

Today again you will step out for some sightseeing. Once you are done with your breakfast you can step out to see another lovely monument, Agra Fort. Agra Fort popularly referred to as Red Fort of Agra has been made out of red sandstone. It was the residence of Mughal kings till the capital shifted to Delhi. It showcases both Islamic and Rajput architecture. Later during the day, you can visit the lovely Mehtab Bagh and Tomb of Itimad-ud Daulah. Overnight stay is in Agra.

Day-4 Agra to Jaipur (240 kms)

In the morning, you will leave for Jaipur in a prepaid taxi. It takes around 4 hours 30 minutes to reach Jaipur. En-route you can stop for a while at Fatehpur Sikri. Visit Buland Darwaza which was built by Emperor Akbar to mark his win over Gujarat. Once you are in Jaipur check into your preferred hotel. Overnight stay is in Jaipur.

Day-5 Sightseeing in Jaipur

There are so many wonderful places to see in the "Pink City". You can start with a visit to the beautiful Amber Fort. This fort offers a bird's eye view of the entire city. From here you can proceed to Hawa Mahal, also known as the "Palace of winds". Jaipur has some very nice shopping places such as Tripolia Bazar, Johari Bazaar, etc. Overnight stay is in Jaipur.

Day-6 Jaipur to New Delhi (320 Kms)

In the morning you will leave for Delhi. It takes 5 hrs to reach Delhi provided road and weather conditions are fine. In Delhi, you will do some more sightseeing. Visit holy spots such as Lotus Temple, Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple, etc. If you wish you can even indulge in some nice street shopping at Janpath Market, Sarojini Nagar Market, etc. Later, you will leave for the airport to catch a flight for your onward destination.
