Detailed Itinerary of Golden Triangle Tour with Tigers

Day-1 Delhi to Agra (204 kms)

In the morning the tour representative will have you picked up from the airport or where ever you are in the capital. From here you will be taken in A/C taxis to Agra. Once in Agra, you will check-in at a hotel in accordance to your budget. Once the check-in process is done you will leave for Taj viewing. Taj Mahal is a brilliant monument made completely out of white marble. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Mughal emperor Shahjahan built Taj Mahal in memory of Mumtaz Mahal who was his wife.

After Taj Mahal, you must visit Agra Fort also referred to as Lal Quila or the Red Fort of Agra. This fort is spread across an area of 94acres and offers a perfect amalgamation of Hindu and Islamic architecture. Another must-visit spot in Agra is Mehtab Bagh. This char-bagh complex is located to the North of Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal is open for night viewing only five days in a month. Day-2 Agra to Ranthambore (260 kms)

In the morning you will leave for Ranthambore in a prepaid taxi. It takes around 5 to 6 hrs to reach as the road is a little rough. En-route you can take a halt at Fatehpur Sikri and see Buland Darwaza. On reaching Ranthambore you will check into your chosen hotel. Ranthambore is one of the hugely sought after Tiger Reserves in the country. Overnight stay is in Ranthambore.

Day-3 Local Sightseeing in Ranthambore

Start your day with the jeep safari in the park. The jeep safari is for 3 to 4 hours so always carry your bottled water and some light snacks with you. If you are lucky you will get to see Great Indian Tiger. After the safari, you can return to the hotel and rest for a while. If you wish you can book a safari for the evening also. Day-4 Ranthambore to Jaipur (180 Kms)

In the morning you will leave for Jaipur popularly referred to as Pink city. It takes 3 hrs to reach Jaipur. On reaching Jaipur, you will check into a hotel as per your budget. There are several interesting places to see in Jaipur such as City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Albert Hall Museum, Jantar Mantar- the observatory, Amer Fort, etc. For some nice shopping of gemstones, tie and dye clothing, etc head to bazaars in Jaipur such as Tripolia Bazaar, Bapu Bazaar, etc. Overnight stay is in a hotel in Jaipur.

Day-5 Jaipur to Delhi (320Kms)

In the morning you will check out and leave for the capital. The journey spans around 6 hrs. On reaching Delhi you will check into any hotel of your choice. After a brief period of rest, step out for a little sightseeing. Visit places such as Humayun's Fort, Qutub Minar, Lodhi Gardens, etc. Overnight stay is in a hotel in Delhi.

Day-6 Local sightseeing in New Delhi

In the morning you will do some of Delhi sightseeing. Visit tourist spots which you did not cover before like Red Fort, Lotus Temple, Madame Tussaud's Museum, India Gate, Parliament House and finally Akshardham Temple. Delhi offers very good shopping. Visit Chandni Chowk to get the real feel of old Delhi. Overnight stay is in a hotel in Delhi.

Day-7 Check- out from hotel

Check out from the hotel. If you have time you can eat at any popular eating joints in Delhi. Later on, leave for the airport to catch flight for your onward destination.
