Detailed Itinerary

Day-1 Arrival in Delhi

The tour representative will be there to receive you at the Indira Gandhi International Airport or from your chosen place in either Delhi or Gurgaon. From here starts the lovely sightseeing tour. From UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar, etc to symbols of modern India, Delhi has lots to offer to the tourist. You must visit the light and sound show at Red Fort. If shopping is your calling, head straight to Chandni Chowk, Shahpur Jat or Hauz Khas Village. Overnight stay is in a hotel in Delhi.

Day-2 Delhi to Jaipur (281 kms)

In the morning leave for Jaipur in a prepaid taxi. It will take around 5 hours to reach. Jaipur presents a mind-blowing Rajasthani hospitality experience. Enjoy elephant ride at the very famous Amer Fort. Try authentic Rajasthani dinner comprising of Dal, Baati Churma at Chokhi Dhani. Overnight stay is in a hotel in Jaipur.

Day-3 Jaipur Sightseeing

Jaipur presents an excellent sightseeing experience. There are so many wonderful places to see in Pink City. Begin with a visit to Hawa Mahal, also known as the "Palace of Winds". This palace was built so that the royal women could enjoy and see what all was happening outside without anyone looking at them. Then head straight to Maharaja City Palace and Jantar Mantar. Jaipur offers very good shopping of semi-precious and precious jewelry. You can visit any of the popular bazaars such as Bapu Bazaar, Tripolia Bazar, etc. Overnight stay is in Jaipur.

Day-4 Jaipur to Agra in a prepaid taxi

In the morning you will be transferred to Agra in a prepaid taxi. It takes roughly 4 hours 30 minutes to reach Agra. Take a halt at Fatehpur Sikri- this red sandstone city was built by Akbar to celebrate his triumph over Gujarat. It is now a UNESCO World Heritage site. Once you are in Agra the tour representative take you immediately for Taj Mahal viewing. Taj Mahal is a dream in pristine white marble. This wonderful monument is a testimony of deep love of Mughal emperor Shahjahan in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Overnight stay is in hotel in Agra.

Day-5 Agra to Orchha

In the morning you will visit Agra Fort. This fort demonstrates an amalgamation of Islamic and Hindu architecture. By afternoon you will leave for Orchha. It takes 5 hours 30 minutes to reach Orchha. On reaching Orchha you will check-into your chosen hotel. There are some important places to see in Orchha such as Chaturbhuj Temple, Shri Ram Raja Mandir, Orchha Fort Complex, etc. Overnight is in a hotel in Orchha.

Day-6 Orchha to Khajuraho

In the morning you will leave for Khajuraho. It takes around 4 hours to reach Khajuraho in a prepaid taxi. On reaching Khajuraho you will check-into the hotel of your choice. Khajuraho is famous for a group of Jain and Hindu temples where you can see erotic exotic sculptures. Day-7 Khajuraho sightseeing

In the morning you will again step out for sightseeing in the city. Now you must visit Lakshmana Temple which is a 10th-century temple built by Hindu king Yashovarman. Other key temples which you can visit are Devi Jagadambi Temple, Parshvanatha Temple, Chaturbhuj Temple, etc. Overnight stay is in a hotel in Khajuraho.

Day-8 Khajuraho to Delhi

In the morning you will leave for Delhi. It takes 12 hours to reach Delhi by road so most of the people prefer to take a flight. Leave for the airport on time to catch the flight for Delhi. Once you are in Delhi you can take the flight to your onward destination.
