The Tomb of I’timād-ud-Daulah is a Mughal mausoleum located in Agra, India. It was built between 1622 and 1628 by Empress Nur Jahan, the wife of Mughal Emperor Jahangir, for her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg.
The tomb is often called the “Baby Taj” because of its similar design to the Taj Mahal. It is considered the forerunner of the Taj Mahal as it was the first Mughal structure built entirely of white marble with intricate inlays.

Agra’s Mehtab Bagh, a Mughal-era garden on the opposite bank of the Yamuna River from the Taj Mahal, is located on the river’s opposite bank. Emperor Babur built the garden in the 17th century, and Shah Jahan renovated it during his reign.
A perfect view of the Taj Mahal can be seen from the garden, also called the ‘Moonlit Garden’ because it is believed the emperor visited the garden during full moon nights to admire its reflection.
Originally, the garden was laid out in a geometric pattern with a central pool and pavilions at each corner. In spite of this, the garden was neglected for many years and became overgrown. Later, in the 1990s, it was restored by the Archaeological Survey of India.
Visitors can stroll through the gardens today, which feature a variety of plants and trees, as well as fountains and water channels. It is a popular spot for picnics and photography, providing a serene and tranquil escape from Agra’s busy city streets.

Ram Bagh is a Mughal-era garden in Agra, India, and is one of the oldest gardens in India. It was built by the Mughal emperor Babur in the early 16th century and is said to be one of his favorite retreats.
