Itinerary

Arrive at Kochi Airport or railway station, meet your driver and check in to your hotel. After a short rest, you explore Fort Kochi, known for its blend of Portuguese, Dutch and British architecture. Visit the Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church and walk through Jew Street and the synagogue area, famous for antique shops and spice stores. In the evening, enjoy a relaxed stroll along Marine Drive, with optional short boat ride, and return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Kochi.

After breakfast, drive to Alleppey (Alappuzha), often called the “Venice of the East” for its network of canals and lagoons. On arrival, board a private houseboat or check in to a backwater resort, depending on your chosen package. Cruise slowly through the Kerala backwaters, passing lush paddy fields, coconut groves, coir villages and narrow canals. Enjoy freshly cooked Kerala meals on board, watch the sunset over the backwaters, and spend a peaceful night on the houseboat or at your Alleppey hotel.


After breakfast and houseboat checkout (usually around 9:30–10:00 AM), drive to Varkala (about 3 hours). On the way, you can optionally stop at Jatayu Earth Centre for a cable car ride and views around the giant Jatayu sculpture, if time permits and your package includes it. On arrival in Varkala, check in to your hotel near the cliff or beach. Spend the afternoon and evening at Varkala Beach and Varkala Cliff, where golden sands meet red laterite cliffs overlooking the Arabian Sea. Enjoy sunset views, seaside cafés and light shopping along the cliffside walk before an overnight stay in Varkala.

On your final day, you may visit Janardanaswamy Temple or simply relax by the beach in the morning. Depending on your departure schedule, you can also opt for a short Ayurvedic spa session or last‑minute shopping at the cliff markets.
