Today is dedicated to exploring the royal gems of Jaipur. Start with the magnificent Amber Fort, where you can ascend either by jeep or the traditional elephant ride. Its ornate courtyards, mirror palace (Sheesh Mahal), and panoramic views will leave you in awe. Next, head to the City Palace, a grand blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture, still partly home to Jaipur’s royal family. Continue to the Jantar Mantar, an 18th-century astronomical observatory and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Don’t miss the iconic Hawa Mahal, or “Palace of Winds”, with its intricately designed windows that once allowed royal women to observe street life unseen.
